Burns Night

It’s an institution of Scottish life and for many families, Burns Night is an important day of the year to celebrate Scottish heritage. The burns night supper can be a formal affair with the traditional running order from playing the bagpipes, The Selkirk Grace (a short prayer), addressing to the haggis, a toast to the haggis and more…

The night of celebrations is long but a filled with entertainment and delicious food and drinks. With my Mother’s side of the family being Scottish, we look forward to Burns Night every year and it’s the one night of the year we indulge in haggis and a drop of whiskey!
