We are looking for special recipes that would be perfect after long wet walks on wintery days or light bites for eating outdoors in the sunshine. Enter your favourite recipe for your chance to win a case of wine…

All Sheepskin cottages are perfect for foodies who want to take some time out and share wonderful times and food together. Great places to buy local produce nearby, well-equipped kitchens to cook your delicious recipes and cosy characterful dining spaces to enjoy them in.

What more could you want apart from perhaps some inspirational ideas for new recipes to try, so we are searching for tasty and tempting recipes.

We are sure you have fabulous recipes just waiting to be shared! So why not share them with us for the chance to win a fantastic first prize of a 12 bottle case of wine, worth over £100, from our partners Davis Bell McCraith wines and delicious second prize of a Tapas Selection from the Sheepskin Delicatessen.

Enter your recipe to the competition before 31st January in either of two ways; email us your recipe inspired@sheepskinlife.com (with an image if you have one) and we will add it to our blog. Alternatively if you have a blog yourself post your recipe there (maybe it is already there) with a link to our site. Email us the link to your recipe and we will link back to your site from the recipe page on our blog too.

The competition will be voted for by the public to decide the finalists and the Sheepskin office will then cook and taste the short list recipes to decide the two winners. You are welcome to send the link to our blog post to your friends to encourage votes.

First prize is a case of wine from Davis Bell McCraith, 6 bottles of Clos de Torribas, Penedes 2007 and 6 bottles of Echeverria Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2010. This case of 12 bottles, worth over £100, combines the subtle flavours of Spain with the tropical fruit of Chile. Two great quality wines that we hope you’ll enjoy! Entries can be posted from now until 31st January. Voting will open on 2nd January and will close on 29th February.

The winners will be announced in the February issue of our newsletter as well as on our site (we will let you know personally if you are the winner too!)

3. The recipe must be your own and include a full list of ingredients and methodology.
4. Although copyright remains with the owner, Sheepskin reserve the right to use any of the recipes entered.
